Lana Del Rey Signs To Interscope Records

Although we saw something big like this looming for a while now, Lana Del Rey has now officially signed on with Interscope Records. As pointed out by Pitchfork, Billboard recently referred to the vintage-styled singer-songwriter as “a recent Interscope Record signee” in this week’s issue.

If her recent win at the Q awards for “Next Big Thing” wasn’t clear enough an indication, the fact that her debut album will be released next year on Interscope Records will make sure that it is a highly anticipated record in both indie and mainstream circles. She also announced, via her Facebook, that she was working on recording a video to an upcoming single called “Born 2 Die.”
