Matt Damon to Make Directorial Debut
Matt Damon will soon be joining his friends Ben Affleck and George Clooney in the line of actors directing their own films.
Damon has signed on to direct a new as-yet-unnamed legal drama that he will also star in. The film is said to be about “a salesman who arrives in a small town only to have his whole life called into question.” Damon co-wrote the screenplay with John Krasinski of The Office. Krasinski developed the story with Dave Eggers.
Damon is also signed on to direct Father Daughter Time, but this newer project will apparently take precedence over that.
