Owen Wilson has recently revealed plot details for the follow-up to the 2001 hit Zoolander. Earlier this year original writer-director announced he finished the script and submitted it to the studio for approval.
Zoo 2 or Two-lander, as Wilson jokingly refers to the film in an interview with MTV, will mostly take place in Europe 10 years after the original film took place. As for Wilson’s character, Hansel, the actor states, “Hansel has fallen on hard times. There’s been a disfiguring injury.”
This goes along with Stiller’s previous statements revealing, “It’s basically Derek and Hansel 10 years later
a lot of things have happened in the meantime.”
The two male models will deal with the fact that they are no longer relevant and find a way to come to terms with their new lives. While both Stiller and Wilson are clearly on board, and Will Ferrell also stated he was interested, the green light hasn’t been given by studio executives.
