NBC Nabs Cox/Arquette Comedy
We recently reported that estranged couple Courtney Cox and David Arquette was developing a sitcom that sounded an awful lot like Friends and that it would most likely be picked up by ABC. Though Coquette Productions is owned by ABC, it was NBC who picked up the relationship comedy.
Ten Years will be about the ups and downs of friendships and relationships over the course of 10 years. Unconfirmed details include that the main couple will have just ended a long-term relationship a la Cox and Arquette.
NBC already picked up a drama entitled The Next Insanely Great Thing. Inspired by a true story, the show is set in a suburban town whose residents agree to become testers for new social media experiments.
