Paste's mPlayer Requires Paid Subscriptions Starting This Week
The mPlayer, our weekly digital magazine, has been free for the first 14 issues to thank our loyal readers. Starting this week, Paste’s mPlayer will be available only through paid subscriptions. Details for paid subscriptions come later this week, which will include additional free issues for former subscribers of the print edition of Paste.
You can take a look at the first 14 issues of the mPlayer over here, but make sure to register for free before tomorrow to ensure you have permanent access to our 14-issue free summer preview, which includes 109 free downloadable mp3s. An iPad edition of the mPlayer will go live this fall and will be included with subscriptions.
So far, the Paste samplers have included tracks from The Jayhawks, Blitzen Trapper, Jonny Corndawg, Jeff Bridges, Yellow Ostrich, Generationals, Fruit Bats, Dale Earnhardt Jr. Jr., My Morning Jacket and Bright Eyes. Feist, Wilco, tUnE-yArDs, Mark Ruffalo and Gillian Welch have all been featured on the cover of the digital player.
Check out our 14th issue of the mPlayer, which features a cover story on Feist by Geoffrey Himes here.
