The Rolling Stones will release a single today in celebration of the upcoming Some Girls rerelease, which comes out Nov. 21. The unreleased single, which was recently re-discovered by producer Don Was, was recorded during the Some Girls sessions in 1978.
The song, titled “No Spare Parts,” has a country feel to it and features Keith Richards on piano and Ron Wood on pedal-steel guitar. It will make its debut on Ken Bruce’s show on BBC Radio 2. A press release for the band said the song will also be available in U.S. platforms later today.
You can check out the Rolling Stones’ website here where you can also see the pre-order for the deluxe edition of Some Girls.
