A few weeks ago, CBS announced they would be turning Source Code, the other Sci-Fi hit from this year, into a full-fledged TV series. According to Deadline, now Syfy has announced that the successful film based on the novel, The Adjustment Team, by Philip K. Dick would be also getting the TV series treatment.
The Adjustment Bureau show will be produced by MRC, the same group that produced the film (utilizing the fact that Syfy is a sister network of Universal). This also means that Michael Hackett, one of the producers of the film, will be sitting in on the show as co-executive producer along with former Smallville executive producer Darren Swimmer.
Although a number of Philip K. Dick’s books and short stories have adapted for the screen, this will mark the first story to be adapted as a television series.
