The Roots Announce Upcoming Concept Album

On Friday, hip-hop/soul collective The Roots announced on their Facebook page that they are gearing up to release their newest album, Undun, on Dec. 6 via Def Jam Records.

According to the post, Undun will be the “first ever” concept album in The Roots’ extensive discography—it will mark their 13th proper studio release. Further details about the album’s length, songs, artwork and what the concept is about have not yet been announced, but James Blake is heavily rumored to be featured as a guest on it.
