The Walking Dead Prequel Web Series Now Streaming

A special six-episode web series about The Walking Dead was released exclusively on AMC’s website yesterday. The series follows what happened before the world became infested with zombies.

It serves as a back-story to Hannah, who is known by die-hard fans as “Bicycle Girl.” Her character was infamously shot in the pilot episode and has since became one of the most famous “walkers” with the audience.

According to an AMC press release, “Fans will learn about Hannah’s life before the apocalypse, her struggle to survive and protect her family as the world begins to fall apart, and her ultimate demise into zombie-hood.”

The prequel series was created and directed by The Walking Dead co-executive producer Greg Nicotero with teleplay by John Esposito.

You can watch the web series here before the second season premiere on Oct. 16.
