Watch Ryan Adams’ Dark Metal Comedy Video Countdown Show

Ryan Adams has never been one to get tied down to one specific genre. Just earlier this month Adams released his latest alt-country album Ashes & Fire, and now to promote this album, he’s released a five-minute clip for a fake black metal comedy show entitled “Night Sweats.”

The show, which Adams hosts with Balphazar, played by Stella Berkosfsky, is basically a countdown of metal videos chosen by Adams. It features a YouTube playlist to accompany the video. In between talking about Danzig and Satyricon, Adams takes time to let Balphazar review his video for his new single “Lucky Now.”

If that’s not enough, there’s also a singing piece of pizza and a unicorn man that spits glitter…
