Björk, Jeff Mangum, Guided by Voices to Headline Primavera Sound

Primavera Sound, Barcelona’s premier music festival, is due to take place next year from May 30 to June 3. Earlier today, the festival organizers announced a small portion of the planned 2012 lineup.

Headlining the bill so far is Icelandic avant-garde singer Björk. The other confirmed acts on the bill are former Neutral Milk Hotel leader Jeff Mangum, the newly reformed Codeine, Guided by Voices, Yo La Tengo, Neon Indian and Other Lives.

More artists will be revealed in the near future. In the meantime, you can view the current lineup and purchase festival passes at Primavera Sound’s website.
