Bryan Fuller's <i>Munsters</i>, <i>Hannibal</i> Likely To Receive Series Orders From NBC

Bryan Fuller, creator of Pushing Daisies, may have two projects airing on NBC next fall, Deadline reports. Both projects, a reboot of The Munsters and the Hannibal Lector-based drama Hannibal, received script-to-screen deals.

The Munsters was originally developed last season, and an outline was submitted to NBC this past September. The network received the initial script for the series this past Friday and may strike a deal for a series order as early as this week. NBC reportedly wants the reboot to be a summer or special event series.

As we previously reported Fuller developed Hannibal as an hour-long drama detailing the early relationship between Dr. Lector and FBI profiler Will Graham for Gaumont International Television. Now NBC has preemptively purchased the script with the possibility of a 13-episode commitment if they like the potential of the series.

Both of Fuller’s series adds to the growing list of potential shows the Peacock network has lined up for next year.
