Criterion Collection Films Now on iTunes

For movie buffs, iTunes has just received some of the best films that the Criterion Collection has to offer.

iTunes has started selling 48 films off the illustrious Criterion Collection. The choices vary from Essential Art House, Japanese Cinema, Cult Favorites, Documentaries and American Indies. The films include such classics as Ingmar Bergman’s The Seventh Seal, Francois Truffaut’s first film The 400 Blows, the Japanese masterpiece The Seven Samurai and the essential Western Stagecoach.

The films are only $2.99 to rent and $14.99 for purchase, however the iTunes versions do not include the bonus features that have made Criterion Collection releases so great. Criterion have been making their releases available through several mediums up to know, including NetFlix Streaming and allowing over 100 of their films for release on Hulu Plus.
