Ellen Page Rumored To Be In Dark Knight Rises

Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises has been in the news a lot lately with loads of information being dumped. First, Empire found out the last film of the trilogy will take place eight years after the previous film ends. Now a fan named Dwight Bendish has stumbled upon another possible plot revelation.

While on set a few weeks ago Bendish came across a trailer that read “E. Page, ‘B. Gordon.’” Dark Knight Rises Rumors quickly jumped to the conclusion that Ellen Page might have signed on to play Commissioner Gordon’s daughter Barbara (who also happens to be Bat Girl in the comics).

When we last saw the character she was a little girl, but since this film jumps ahead eight years and Page can play a high school-aged student, it’s very plausible. Additionally, Nolan tends to like to use the same actors and he previously cast Page in Inception.

This remains nothing more than a rumor, but we’ll have our eyes peeled for any breaking news.
