Foo Fighters and Joan Jett to Play <i>Letterman</i> Tonight

On Sunday night in New York City, the Foo Fighters surprised the throngs of Madison Square Garden attendees by bringing out a special guest: punk rock icon Joan Jett. After a double-song guest appearance by Bob Mould, Jett joined the band for an energetic, four-guitar rendition of her classic song “Bad Reputation.”

The surprise performance by Jett, Dave Grohl and company was so enjoyable for the artists themselves and received such a warm audience response that they decided to team up again—this time on television. Tonight, Jett will join the Foo Fighters once again on The Late Show with David Letterman to recreate their raucous version of “Bad Reputation.”
