Guitar From Radiohead's Kid A and Amnesiac Sessions Up For Auction

As ClashMusic points out, the guitar that Radiohead guitarist Ed O’ Brien used almost exclusively during the recording of the albums Kid A and Amnesiac is up for auction on eBay. The auction is part of a fundraiser for the Billie Butterfly Fund, a charity to raise funds for Billie Bainbridge, who was diagnosed with an inoperable form of brain stem cancer. Bainbridge’s mother, Terri, also has breast cancer.

When O’ Brien heard about the family’s hardships, he decided to step in, donating the iconic guitar from the fairly respected Kid A sessions and also getting all of Radiohead to sign the instrument. The guitar was also played live through the band’s In Rainbows tour.

If you’re interested in purchasing a piece of Radiohead history, you can bid on the instrument here.
