Hear a New Project from Members of LCD Soundsystem and Hot Chip
Fact magazine reported that members of LCD Soundsystem and Hot Chip have started a new project called New Build, and some of the tracks from the group have made their way on the internet.
Fact said the group is based in London and is centered around Hot Chip members Al Doyle, who was also a part of LCD Soundsystem, and Felix Martin. The group also includes engineer Tom Hopkins. Some of the early sessions featured Pat Mahoney, who played drums in LCD Soundsystem.
The group’s debut single, “Misery Loves Company,” will be released on Nov. 28 on the band’s label, Lanark Recordings. There will be limited physical run of the album of 500 copies. You can check out the tracks below through Fact’s website.
