Jack White’s Third Man Records is celebrating the end of the year in a big way. The label recently announced a slew of releases for the holiday season, including songs from Edgar Oliver, John C. Reilly and White Stripes reissues.
The first release will be the latest from TMR’s Green Series of spoken word albums. Oliver will release “In the Park” and “Hunger and Light” on Nov. 22 while Reilly will follow with two songs on his own on Nov. 29. The actor-turned-musician’s first foray into music is a series of bluesy folk songs featuring The Black Belles’ Olivia Jean, Fats Kaplin, Jack White and Becky Stark.
White’s label also announced they will release some of the White Stripes’ earliest rarities and singles including De Stijl’s single “Hello Operator” on Dec. 6.
Third Man is also releasing a custom box to carry 7” records as well as a custom vinyl cleaning kit complete with Major Mojo Cleaning Juice. The label also teamed up with Griffen Technology to create a Third Man Records iPhone case. All of these products will be available for purchase through the label’s online store.
