Magnetic Fields, The Music Tapes, More Added to Jeff Mangum's Rescheduled ATP Festival
Last month, it was announced that the All Tomorrow’s Parties Winter Festival, curated by Neutral Milk Hotel’s Jeff Mangum, had to be postponed from December until March. Today, the festival organizers unveiled the updated lineup for the new festival, which will occur in Minehead, U.K. on March 9-11.
Of the acts originally confirmed for the initial December dates, Joanna Newsom, Sebadoh, Boredoms, Low, Thurston Moore, (obviously) Jeff Mangum and others are still slated to perform at the festival in March. Notable groups that were forced to drop off the bill due to rescheduling conflicts include Panda Bear, The Mountain Goats, Superchunk and Tinariwen.
To offset the losses, the festival has added The Magnetic Fields, The Music Tapes, Versus, Minutemen rhythm section Mike Watt and George Hurley, and more. Among those rumored to be playing the new dates but not yet confirmed by the organization are Fleet Foxes and the Sun Ra Arkestra.
You can view the full revised lineup and purchase tickets at the ATP website.
