NBC Reveals Mid-Season Schedule: 30 Rock Returns, Community Bumped

NBC revealed its mid-season lineup, which will feature the return of 30 Rock and introduce the world to a handful of new shows, but unfortunately some shows have been bumped.

Most noticeably, Thursday night staple Community has been left off of the schedule. The series is expected to return, according to Entertainment Weekly. The Futon Critic also cites that all 22 episodes of the third season will be shot and aired.

Smash, The Firm, Fashion Star and Are You There Vodka? It’s Me, Chelsea are the four new series premiering while freshman shows Whitney, Up All Night, Rock Center with Brian Williams and returning drama Harry’s Law will be shifted around in the schedule.

Mondays will feature The Voice and the new musical drama Smash, which will make its debut on Feb. 6. Tuesdays will have the debut of the Elle Macpherson-hosted reality show Fashion Star on March 20, while The Biggest Loser and Parenthood round out the night.

The comedy shake-up starts on Wednesdays when Whitney moves from its Thursday slot to Wednesdays before Are You There Vodka?. The new comedy debuts Jan. 11 and will be joined by Rock Center and Law and Order: SVU.

Thursday’s lineup will now start with the return of 30 Rock followed by Parks and Recreation, The Office and Up All Night. New drama The Firm will round out the night and debut on Jan. 12. Friday’s lineup will remain unchanged from the current fall lineup.
