Patrice O'Neal: 1969-2011

Patrice O’Neal has died after a long battle with diabetes and a stroke he suffered late last October. O’Neal was a prominent fixture in the New York comedy scene and had performed in the city for two decades.

Gregg “Opie” Hughes from the Opie & Anthony Radio Show on Sirius XM tweeted, “Yes it’s true that our pal Patrice O’Neal has passed away. The funniest and best thinker I’ve ever known PERIOD.”

O’Neal often was a guest on the show and was most recently seen roasting Charlie Sheen on Comedy Central.
