While fans eagerly await the upcoming reissues of Gish and Siamese Dream, The Smashing Pumpkins have posted four unreleased demos from the re-releases online for free streaming.
Billy Corgan has chosen to reissue Gish and Siamese Dream, The Smashing Pumpkins’ first two albums, in order to offer a glimpse at the unreleased material from the band’s earliest days — and even with the rarities he’s been leaking for the Smashing Pumpkins Record Club, there’s still an absolute wealth of it to draw from.
Courtesy of Seattle’s radio station The End 107.7, you can sample four of the tracks on its website: “I Am One” (Reel Time demo/2011 mix) from the Gish reissue; and “Today” (Broadway rehearsal demo), “Rocket” (rehearsal demo) and “Disarm” (acoustic mix) from the Siamese Dream reissue.
The reissues of both albums will be released on Nov. 29 through EMI.
