SXSW Releases Initial Round of Bands

The South By Southwest Music Festival has announced the first round of bands that will be showcased at the 2012 event. SXSW 2012 will take place from March 13-18 and will again be centered around the Austin Convention Center in Austin, Texas.

Motopony, Of Monsters and Men, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals and VHS or Beta are among the 100-plus bands that have been announced, but this is the first of many lists of invited bands, and the list is subject to change.
