The Hunger Games Trailer Will Debut Nov. 14

Today, Lionsgate announced via press release that the first trailer for director Gary Ross’ upcoming film adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ 2008 young-adult science fiction novel The Hunger Games would premiere during Good Morning America next week on Monday, Nov. 14.

From the release, “The debut will be hosted in person by actor Josh Hutcherson, who plays the pivotal character of Peeta Mellark in the film, in the top-rated 8:00 hour of the show on Monday, Nov. 14. In addition to airing nationwide, the trailer will also be shown in its entirety on Good Morning America’s jumbotron in New York City’s Times Square.”

The Hunger Games film adaptation stars Jennifer Lawrence as protagonist Katniss Everdeen of District 12, and is due for release on March 23 of next year. Check out the full press release here.
