Because Game of Thrones is just that epic of a series, not one, but three games have been announced based around the fantasy HBO TV series. The one that shows the most promise, though, is an RPG from Cyanide Studio and Atlus that is based on an original story from the author of the original books, George R. R. Martin. The game will be available for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC and will look to correspond with the series as Season 2 premieres next year.
The other projects, which are still being offered input by Martin, include a free-to-play MMO from the makers of Battlestar Galactica Online and a Game of Thrones-based social networking game. All three games will release sometime in 2012.
