Tom Waits to Appear in New Film

At the ripe age of 61, Tom Waits has just released a full length album and is now set to act in the upcoming film Seven Psychopaths alongside big names like Colin Farrell, Woody Harrelson, Sam Rockwell and Christopher Walken.

According to Reuters, the film is an action-comedy about a struggling screenwriter (Farrell) who “inadvertently becomes entangled in the Los Angeles criminal underworld after his oddball friends kidnap a gangster’s beloved Shih Tzu.”

While Farrell, Rockwell, and Walken play the three friends, it’s unclear what Waits’ role will be at this moment. The film, written and being directed by Martin McDonagh, goes into production this week.
