Charlie Kaufman has always been a groundbreaking screenwriter, writing such mind-bending films as Being John Malkovich, Adaptation. and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind as well as his first directorial effort Synecdoche, New York. Kaufman’s second directorial effort, Frank or Francis, will be unique for even him, as he has announced the film will be a musical.
It was rumored that the film would have musical elements, but Kaufman recently revealed that the film will be a full-blown musical.
Frank or Francis will star Steve Carell, Jack Black and Kevin Kline and has an unknown starting date.
