Grown Ups Sequel In the Works

After years of successful comedies, it’s surprising that Adam Sandler has never had a sequel. But his hit comedy from last year, Grown Ups, may soon be the first to get a second installment.

The original film featured Sandler, Kevin James, Rob Schneider, David Spade and Chris Rock as five childhood friends who have grown apart and decide to reunite at a summer cabin with their families.

While there is no deal in place yet that Sandler will star in the sequel, that is dependent on the script, which is in talks to be written by Fred Wolf, the writer of the original.

Grown Ups made over $271 million dollars when it was released in summer 2010.
