Consequence of Sound points out that Radiohead has been rehearsing new songs that they hope will be performed on their upcoming world tour. The announcement comes from guitarist Ed O’ Brien in an interview with XFM radio on Wednesday.
“We’re feeling pretty vital right now,” O’Brien said in the interview. “We’re trying to keep it creative.”
Overall, O’Brien said the band has been rehearsing four or five new songs. This comes after frontman Thom Yorke told Rolling Stone that the band would hit the studio in December and January. You can take a listen to the full interview with O’Brien below.
In other Radiohead news, the band will be releasing two new tracks, “The Daily Mail” and “Staircase” on Dec. 19. But you can take a listen to “The Daily Mail” below via We All Want Someone To Shout For.
The band’s U.S. dates are available here.
