Earlier today a new trailer surfaced for the upcoming film adaptation of Jonathan Safran Foer’s 2005 novel Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close, directed by three-time Academy Award nominee Stephen Daldry (Billy Elliot, The Hours, The Reader) and starring Tom Hanks, Sandra Bullock and Thomas Horn.
Horn plays the lead role of Oskar Schell, a young boy who loses his father (Hanks) in the September 11 WTC attacks and goes on a journey that takes him all across New York City to find the meaning of a key his father left him. The film is set for a limited release on Christmas Day followed by a wide release early next year on Jan. 20. Watch the trailer below.
