Watch the Trailer for Sacha Baron Cohen's <i>The Dictator</i>

“Ah, America; the birthplace of AIDS.”

Earlier today the first trailer surfaced for Sacha Baron Cohen upcoming satirical film The Dictator. Larry Charles, director of Cohen’s previous two films Borat and Brüno as well as Bill Maher’s Religulous will be directing again. Anna Faris, Ben Kingsley and John C. Reilly star alongside Cohen, who plays the titular dictator of a Middle Eastern country, who “risked his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed” according to the official tagline.

The Dictator is set to offend large swaths of people with Cohen’s particular brand of specifically un-P.C. social satire when it hits theaters next year on May 11. Check out the trailer below.
