Ezra Furman To Release Debut Solo Album

Chicago quartet Ezra Furman and the Harpoons released their third LP less than a year ago. However, the band’s namesake Furman has already recorded an album’s worth of solo material. On Feb. 7, Furman’s new label Kinetic Family Records will put out his solo album entitled The Year of No Returning .

The first single and lead track, “Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde” is a little less jangly and a touch more polished than Furman’s work with the Harpoons. Take a listen for yourself over at Consequence of Sound and check out the tracklisting below.
