Jack White to Release Solo Album on Third Man Records This April

Update: “Love Interruption” is available for stream now. You can listen to it below.

Third Man Records’ Vault announced today that Jack White will be releasing his debut solo album titled Blunderbuss. The album will be released through Third Man with Columbia and XL Recordings on April 23/24.

The album was produced by White and recorded at the Third Man studio in Nashville. White said this about the album in a press release:

“(Blunderbuss is) an album I couldn’t have released until now. I’ve put off making records under my own name for a long time but these songs feel like they could only be presented under my name. These songs were written from scratch, had nothing to do with anyone or anything else but my own expression, my own colors on my own canvas.”

“Love Interruption” is the album’s first single, but is only available now to subscribers to Third Man’s Vault. A press release through the Vault said that the single will be available to stream here “very soon.” The 7” release of the single, along with a non-album b-side called “Machine Gun Silhouette” will be available on Feb. 7, and a Third Man preorder will be available, again, “very soon.”

“Love Interuption” will be available digitally tonight at 12 a.m. EST. Make sure to check back for details on the album as they are released.
