James Murphy Developing His Own Espresso Blend?

This has been a great month for coffee-drinking indie-rockers. First, Bonnie “Prince” Billy announced that he had launched a coffee through Drag City. Now former LCD Soundsystem’s James Murphy is working on his own espresso blend, New York Magazine reported.

Although the project seems to be in its infancy, the songwriter is at least somewhat involved so far.

“I can’t talk about that because I’m still in negotiations,” Murphy told the magazine. “I love that we’re here and talking about a film, but I’m like, ‘I can’t really talk about the coffee.’”
