Kid Cudi and Dot Da Genius' Rock Album Delayed

It’s been a year since Kid Cudi announced that he and Dot Da Genius would release a rock-infused album under the band name WZRD. The album was supposed to be released on Jan. 30, but Dot Da Genius took to his Twitter account to say that wasn’t going to happen.

“We are in the final stages of mastering but we really had to take time and pay attention to the sonics as this is new territory for us,” he tweeted, “With that being said, we have decided to change the release date. We are looking roughly at Feb 28th.”

That being said, the producer went on to say that WZRD will release “Break,” “Teleport 2 Me” and “DOPE AS DOPENESS” as singles on the album’s original release date.

The news of the album comes weeks after Kid Cudi revealed that the duo will tour Europe before coming back to the U.S. in support of the album.
