Listen to a New Diamond Rugs Song, "Gimme a Beer"

Indie-rock supergroup Diamond Rugs released a single from their debut album today titled “Gimme a Beer.” The band— which features Deer Tick frontman John McCauley and keyboardist Robbie Crowell, Black Lips guitarist Ian Saint Pé, Dead Confederate’s Hardy Morris, Six Finger Satellite drummer Bryan Dufresne and Los Lobos saxophonist Steve Berlin — sounds pretty live on the slide-guitar heavy track.

The band’s debut album is slated for an April 24 release on Partisan Records.
