Listen To A Track From Yim Yames and Friends' Woody Guthrie Tribute Album

Yesterday we announced that Will Johnson (Centro-matic, South San Gabriel), Jay Farrar (Son Volt, Gob Iron, Uncle Tupelo), Yim Yames (My Morning Jacket, Monsters of Folk), and Anders Parker (Varnaline, Gob Iron) would release a Woody Guthrie tribute album and tour behind it.

Now the first track off of New Multitudes, which will be released Feb. 27, has been released. The quartet’s version of Guthrie’s “Old LA” is filled with folksy guitars and alt-country melodies.
