Listen to Wavves Cover The Misfits

Wavves’ Nathan Williams released a super lo-fi take on the Misfits’ “Hybrid Moments” to Twitter yesterday “as an ode to the band.” The track features Williams on super-processed vocals, guitar and some sort of clacking rhythm.

And it sounds like the cover was at least kind of impromptu: “i didn’t tune my guitar and i think the chorus goes once more in the end.” Either way, Williams’ take on the Legacy of Brutality cut is charming enough for us to take repeated listens. You can hear it below.
