My Morning Jacket to Headline, Curate Louisville's Forecastle Festival

Louisville’s Forecastle Festival is turning 10 this year, and there’s probably no better way for the event to celebrate than with the city’s most beloved band, My Morning Jacket. The band announced today that they would both headline and help curate this year’s festival.

The full lineup has not been announced for the festival yet, but it is expected to be revealed in the upcoming weeks. Tickets will go on sale on Jan. 27 at noon through the festival’s website. You can take a look at Forecastle’s website here.

“The stars have aligned in such a way that not only allows My Morning Jacket to headline on Saturday night, but to collaborate on many aspects of the festival as well,” said JK McKnight, the founder of the festival.

“From booking bands and curating late night shows to choosing philanthropic partners and shining a light on Louisville’s special offerings, together we’re sure to craft the best Forecastle experience ever. There’s certainly no group I would rather share this moment with than them.”

The website also released a teaser trailer for the festival that features the band. You can check it out below.
