We reported earlier that Bon Iver, Erykah Badu and Ke$ha were all likely making an appearance on an upcoming Flaming Lips album. Now the whole thing’s been confirmed via Wayne Coyne’s Twitter, and Pitchfork posted previews of a few of those songs today. The album is expected to be out in April.
The portion of Bon Iver’s collaboration sounds mostly electronic, with Justin Vernon leaning more on the over-processed side of his vocal tracks.
Frontman Wayne Coyne has been vocal about getting Ke$ha involved on the project and now she’s confirmed. And it seems like the two have been having a blast hanging out – Coyne’s even tweeted about getting his hands on some of the singer’s infamous glitter and posted a few previews as well. We’re just going to have to trust him on this one.
Although the clips don’t give much insight as to what the project is going to sound like, you can definitely make out the artists’ presence on the clips. Take a listen here.
