Pulp Announces U.S. Tour Dates

We were pretty excited when Coachella released their lineup and announced that Brit-rockers Pulp would take a major performing slot at the desert festival. Now, we’re even more pumped to find out that the Sheffield group will be playing a few more American dates while they’re on this side of the pond.

A flash message on the band’s website asks, “Can this feeling travel cross the Atlantic? Can we make the desert bloom? Can we conquer our phobias? And most fundamentally—Why me? Why you? Why here? Why now?” Then, amidst a black background with neon letters spelling the band’s name, a messages reads, “2012: The year we got some answers…?”

Unfortunately, Pulp only listed four American tour dates on their site and did not hint to adding additional stops. But as they said in a statement, “The echo returns. Razzmatazz in the birthplace of Razzle-Dazzle. Pulp at Radio City Music Hall: has anything of this magnitude happened since Ziggy landed there in ‘73? ‘Dunno mate – fantastic sight-lines though’. Golden Gate? Gotta be great. Murcia, have mercy on us. Enough already….. are you sure you’re ready for this?”

Check out the dates below.

April
11- New York, N.Y. @ Radio City Music Hall
13- Indio, Calif. @ Coachella
17- San Francisco, Calif. @ Warfield
20- Indio, Calif. @ Coachella
