Watch Freddie Gibbs Join Cults for “Bad Things” Remix In NYC

Stranger than the idea of hip-hop up-and-comer Freddie Gibbs joining pop duo Cults on stage in Manhattan last night is the fact that Gibbs started the remixed version of “Bad Things” with what sounded like a call-and-response homage to NWA’s “Fuck Tha Police.”

This collaboration shouldn’t come as too much of a shock, though, as Cults expressed interest in making a hip-hop mix tape last summer. Even then, Cults guitarist Brian Oblivion name-dropped Gibbs as a potential remixer.
