M. Ward to Release New Album

She & Him and Monsters of Folk can have M. Ward back one of these days, but first we want some of that solo work that we haven’t seen since his 2009 album Hold Time.

Merge Records will release M.Ward’s sixth solo album, A Wasteland Companion on April 10.

The album is composed of 12 tracks, 18 musicians and eight different studios and is sure to deliver some soon-to-be favorite collaborations. Zooey Deschanel, Mike Mogis, Steve Shelly, Tobey Leaman and Tom Hagerman are of few of the artists who share their talent on the new record.
