The Grammys Announce First Performers
Today producers revealed the first performers of the 54th Grammy Awards. Current Grammy nominees Foo Fighters, Bruno Mars, Nicki Minaj, Jason Aldean, Kelly Clarkson and Taylor Swift have been chosen for the live entertainment portion of the awards ceremony.
Mars and the Foo Fighters tally highest among the performers with six nominations each, and both are up for Album Of The Year. Minaj, also up for Album Of The Year, takes four nods while Aldean and Swift are up for three each and Clarkson two.
Last year, the first round of performers announced consisted of Arcade Fire, Eminem, Cee Lo Green, Lady Gaga, Miranda Lambert and Katy Perry.
Will there be another collaboration like last year’s Mumford & Sons, Avett Brothers, Dylan performance this year? What do you think? Who else would you like to see perform at this year’s Grammy Awards?
The Grammy Awards will take place live on Sunday, Feb. 12 on CBS at 8 p.m. EST. The show will also stream on YouTube, CBS.com and GRAMMY.com as well as air on radio worldwide via Westwood One/Dial Global.
