Watch Firehorse Cover The Low Anthem

Firehorse —also known as Leah Siegel, a recent "Best of What’s Next” alum— recently covered The Low Anthem’s “Charlie Darwin” from their 2009 album, Oh My God, Charlie Darwin.

Siegel’s version is a slow-paced, stripped take on the Low Anthem’s song. She performed the song for a session with Spinner, where she also said:

“‘Charlie Darwin’ is an incredibly emotive and expressive song but also has a simple melody. I felt I could give my own personal take on it while keeping those important elements intact.”
