Abby Elliott to Leave SNL for New Fox Comedy?

Saturday Night Live member Abby Elliott has been tapped to star in new Fox pilot Ben Fox Is My Manny. Elliott would star as an uptight single mother in the new comedy whose freeloading brother moves in to help raise her daughter, reports Deadline.

The show’s schedule wouldn’t interfere with Elliott’s SNL duties as it will film during the sketch comedy’s hiatus, but if the new show gets picked up for a series Elliott would reportedly stay with the new series and say goodbye to the late night show.

Ben Fox would be Elliott’s first major venture into television outside of SNL.
