Davy Jones: 1945 - 2012
TMZ reported that the lead singer for The Monkees, Davy Jones, has died at 66. It was reported that the singer died from a heart attack this morning. The death was confirmed by the medical examiner’s office in Martin County, Fla.
Jones joined the Monkees in 1965. Some of their most famous tracks included “I’m a Believer” “Last Train to Clarksville” and “Daydream Believer.” Although few details have been released about Jones’ death, check back for news as it emerges.
