Listen to a New Shins Song, "The Rifle's Spiral"

While the last Shins leak (“It’s Only Life,” which singer James Mercer performed live and acoustic for San Diego radio station 91X) was swiftly removed from the Internet, another cut of the band’s forthcoming album Port Of Morrow has surfaced in its stead.

Mercer and co. performed “The Rifle’s Spiral,” which will open The Shins’ eagerly anticipated fourth album, a few years ago at the Fox Theater in Oakland. It’s unclear whether the Port of Morrow track song will sound like the older live version.

Port of Morrow will be released on March 20 via Columbia Records and Mercer’s own Aural Apothecary imprint. Check out the live video of “The Rifle’s Spiral” below.
