Margot and the Nuclear So and So's Cancel SXSW Dates

Margot and the Nuclear So and So’s took to their Facebook page to tell their fans that they’ll be canceling their South by Southwest shows and promised they’ll return to Texas soon to make up for the cancellation.

“And rest assured that the band is fine,” the band’s statement read, “all other tour plans this year remain in place.”

Margot mastermind Richard Edwards told us, “SXSW was originally part of the larger tour, and when the tour got bumped back, it became a bit less plausible to do it. Shit ain’t easy without a label. But, the tour schedule is intact, and everyone is excited to hit the road.”

The band’s tour dates now run from March 31 through April 21 and sprawl across the East Coast and Canada. Their latest full length Rot Gut, Domestic is set to be released on March 20 via Edwards’ own Mariel Recordings.
