What started as brothers Brad and Andrew Barr playing music together as children has evolved into a gorgeous folksy chamber pop quartet with the additions of Sarah Page and Andres Vial. The Barr Brothers, the full band, that is, has been heralded as one of our “Best of What’s Next” artists for its impressive instrumentation and soothing melodies. From the whispers of “Beggar in the Morning” to the rousing “Give the Devil Back His Heart,” The Barr Brothers’ self-titled debut album represents an organic evolution in rootsy indie music.
